When you use the Website, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information, including your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, the pages you view, how long you spend on them, the website that referred you, and general location (such as city or region) derived from your IP address.

2. Cookies, analytics & advertising

We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to understand how the Website is used and to measure and improve our advertising. These tools may place cookies in your browser and collect information about your activity on the Website and, in some cases, across other websites and apps.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the Website, such as which pages are viewed and how visitors navigate between them. Google collects this information through cookies and processes it under its own privacy policy. Learn how Google uses this information at How Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your information by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Meta Pixel

We use the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. (the company behind Facebook and Instagram), to measure the effectiveness of our ads and to show relevant ads to people who have visited the Website. The Meta Pixel may collect information such as your IP address, browser information, the pages you visit, and actions you take on the Website, and Meta may connect this information to your Facebook or Instagram account. Meta processes this information under its Privacy Policy. You can manage how Meta uses your information for ads in your Meta ad preferences.

We configure these tools so that the contents of our forms, such as your name, contact details, and message, are not sent to Google or Meta.

Your cookie choices

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising from many companies through the Digital Advertising Alliance and the Network Advertising Initiative. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the Website work. Our Website does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to consultation requests and questions
  • Schedule and confirm appointments and communicate with you
  • Send updates, news, and offers you have agreed to receive
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Website
  • Understand how visitors use the Website and measure our advertising
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights

4. Health information

The Website provides general educational information and does not provide medical advice. Submitting a form on the Website does not create a patient relationship.

We do not sell health information, and we do not share health information you submit through the Website with advertising or analytics providers. Health information you share with us as a patient is protected under HIPAA and handled according to our Notice of Privacy Practices.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as described below:

  • Service providers that help us operate our business, such as website hosting, form and email delivery, text messaging, and appointment scheduling. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
  • Analytics and advertising partners (Google and Meta), which collect information through cookies and pixels as described in Section 2.
  • Legal and safety reasons, when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Core-X, our patients, or others.
  • Business transfers, such as in connection with a merger, sale, or transfer of all or part of our business.
  • With your consent or at your direction.

Some state privacy laws consider allowing advertising partners to collect information through cookies and pixels to be a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. You can limit this collection using the choices described in Sections 2 and 8.

6. Text messages

If you provide your phone number and agree to receive text messages, Core-X may send you messages about appointments, your inquiry, and, if you opt in, news and offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or service.

Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. You may also contact us using the information below.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except service providers that deliver messages on our behalf.

7. Email

If you sign up for our email list, we will send you news and offers from Core-X. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any marketing email. We may still send you messages related to your appointments or requests.

8. Your choices & rights

You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we collected through the Website. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law, such as the right to opt out of targeted advertising or the sale of personal information, or to appeal a decision we make about your request.

To make a request, contact us using the information in Section 13. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights. Requests about patient medical records are handled under our Notice of Privacy Practices.

9. Security & retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect. No website or internet transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to meet legal, accounting, and medical record-keeping requirements.

10. Children

The Website and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 through the Website. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
